And so it all begins
They teach me so much … I guess the greatest thing about being a parent is that you just never get to hide from who you really are. Just when I think I’ve got a handle on this thing called LIFE, these honest, open kids of mine bring me back to earth with a thud!
Jackson made the comment recently, “Mum, back in the olden days; like a really, really long time ago, just before you were born …. !! How old does he think I am – but to a child anything more than 3 years older than them is ancient!!! I laughed out loud at his way of defining years gone by.
Their role is to learn more; grow more; evolve and do better than us. I want my kids to be smarter than me. I want them to know more and I want them to be all that they can be. Already I am continually in awe of what they know and how eloquently they share what they know. I few years back I gave Harison the nickname “Google” because he just knows the answer to everything! So as I continue to be humbled by these great teachers of mine, I hope you too add your magical moments so we can all grow together.
